2023.3.30 Patch Note: F-Chassis M-Power GETRAG-7DCT main update.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the attention and support given to TTS.

This update includes extensive tunings for M models. Previous TTS transmission customers who own M models tuning maps can download these updates for free:

The following OTS tuning files have been added for models with N55 and S55 engines in M2, M2C, M3(model 2018+), and M4(model 2018+).

Stage 2 Plus:

  1. Stage 2 Plus Tuning: Based on the default features of the Stage 2 maps, optimized for steady speed driving between 60km/h to 90km/h. Deliberately delay the upshift points for gears 4, 5, and 6, and the downshift throttle blip has been quickened, it improves driving comfort in 60-90km/h.

Stage 3 Plus:

  1. Stage 3 Plus Tuning: Building on the Stage 3 map, the D-mode shifting logic has been made more comfortable, while S-mode shifting is more aggressive.

Stage 3 GearCustomize (M2/M2C only):

  1. Stage 3 GearCustomize Tuning: Building on the Stage 3 map, optimized for steady speed driving between 60km/h to 90km/h. Deliberately delay the upshift points for gears 4, 5, and 6, and the downshift throttle blip has been quickened, it improves driving comfort in 60-90km/h.

Stage 4 Plus:

  1. Stage 4 Plus Tuning: Building on the Stage 4 map, optimized for steady speed driving between 60km/h to 90km/h. Deliberately delay the upshift points for gears 4, 5, and 6, and the downshift throttle blip has been quickened, it improves driving comfort in 60-90km/h.

Stage 5 Race Mode 0-100 for High Horsepower Models:

  1. Stage 5 Tuning for High Horsepower Models: Added an additional tuning program specifically for 0-100 km/h straight-line drag racing for high horsepower models.
  2. Reduced wheel spin duration at launch due to high torque.
  3. Increased traction between tires and the ground in low gears post-launch.

In addition to these tuning programs, we have also updated the following content:

  1. Faster yet still smooth shifting logic in Drive-Logic 1 mode.
  2. Quick shifting experience in all DSC modes.
  3. High horsepower models can reach a maximum RPM of 8000 in special circumstances (with DME support).
  4. Removed the cooldown limitation for launch control.
  5. Added traffic jam optimization in Stage 4 transmission tuning.
  6. In Stage 4 and Stage 5 transmission tuning: expanded the customizable RPM range for launch control.

Hotfix: Fixed a display error of D mode in M2/M2C.

 

 

Features of the TTS M DCT Dual-Clutch Transmission Tuning Suite:

Stage 1 Tuning Feature: After flashing the Stage 1 program, driving range (reduced fuel consumption) and comfort are improved. The shift points can optimally utilize engine torque, always maintaining low and stable RPMs. The torque limit of the transmission has been removed, so engines with power upgrades are no longer restricted by the transmission.

TTS Transmission Stage 1:

  1. Increased line pressure to 19 Bar.
  2. Removed the torque limits of both clutches.
  3. Significantly improved driving comfort in Drive Logic 1.

Stage 2/Stage 2 Plus Tunings Feature: The Stage 2 tuning focuses on sporty aspects without affecting driving comfort in Comfort mode. Shift points and clutch pressure can accelerate shifts and reduce response time. It is the most recommended permanent tuning program for M owners.

TTS Transmission Stage 2:

  1. Increased line pressure to 19 Bar.
  2. Removed the torque limits of both clutches.
  3. More aggressive shifting in all three Drive Logic in automatic shift mode.
  4. Optimized launch control tuning (referencing GTS vehicle tuning).
  5. Increased grip during launch control.
  6. Slightly improved manual shift response speed.
  7. Enhanced driving comfort in Drive Logic 1.

TTS Transmission Stage 2 Plus:

  1. Based on the default features of the Stage 2 program, optimized for steady speed driving between 60km/h to 90km/h. Deliberately delay the upshift points for gears 5, 6, and 7, and the downshift throttle blip has been quickened, it improves driving comfort in 60-90km/h.

Stage 3/Stage 3 Plus/Stage 3 Gear Customize Tunings Feature: The Stage 3 tuning series is suitable for every customer who enjoys fast driving and driving pleasure. The standard Comfort D mode largely retains the smoothness of the original, while Sport and Manual modes are optimized for the fastest racing results. Drive Logic 3 maintains low gear high RPMs as much as possible, adding optimized launch control and "true manual mode" functions.

TTS Transmission Stage 3:

  1. Increased line pressure to 19 Bar.
  2. Removed the torque limits of both clutches.
  3. More aggressive shifting in all three Drive Logic in automatic shift mode.
  4. Optimized launch control tuning (referencing GTS vehicle tuning).
  5. Increased grip during launch control.
  6. Slightly improved manual shift response speed.
  7. Sportier shifting logic in D mode - Drive Logic 1.
  8. Racing shifting logic in D mode - Drive Logic 3.
  9. Shift program structure fully optimized based on the M4 GTS racing version.

TTS Transmission Stage 3 Plus:

  1. Based on the Stage 3 program, the D-mode shifting logic has been made more comfortable, while the S-mode shifting is more aggressive.

TTS Transmission Stage 3 Gear Customize(M2/M2C only): 11. Based on the Stage 3 program, optimized for steady speed driving between 60km/h to 90km/h. Deliberately delay the upshift points for gears 5, 6, and 7, and the downshift throttle blip has been quickened, it improves driving comfort in 60-90km/h.

Stage 4 and Stage 5 Tunings Feature: These are further optimized for specific racing scenarios, such as 0-100 km/h timing and drag races, with additional tuning for power-enhanced vehicles requiring sharper shifting experiences, as well as more settings for various race programs. Ideal for BMW owners pursuing the ultimate racing driving experience. Unleash the Beast!

Stage 4: The Stage 4 program cancels the creep function and widens the selectable RPM range for launch control. Suitable for drag race scenarios.

TTS Transmission Stage 4:

  1. Increased line pressure to 19 Bar.
  2. Removed the torque limits of both clutches.
  3. More aggressive shifting in all three driving logics (Drive Logic) in automatic shift mode.
  4. Optimized launch control tuning (referencing GTS vehicle tuning).
  5. Increased grip during launch control.
  6. Slightly improved manual shift response speed.
  7. Sportier shifting logic in D mode - Drive Logic 1.
  8. Racing shifting logic in D mode - Drive Logic 3.
  9. Shift program structure fully optimized based on the M4 GTS racing version.
  10. Cancelled creep function.
  11. Customizable launch RPM (minimum 2000 RPM, default 3000-3200 RPM, maximum 5000 RPM). Default launch RPM varies by model.
  12. Traffic jam optimization. The vehicle will detect traffic conditions and enter this mode, keeping the transmission in 2nd gear to avoid frequent shifts between 1st and 2nd gears. Improve driving comfort.
  13. In Sport and Sport+ modes, with DSC OFF, there will be stronger shift shock to balance the vehicle's shift shock and improve lap times.

TTS Transmission Stage 4 Plus:

  1. Based on the Stage 4 program, optimized for steady speed driving between 60km/h to 90km/h. Deliberately delay the upshift points for gears 5, 6, and 7, and the downshift throttle blip has been quickened, it improves driving comfort in 60-90km/h.

Stage 5 Program: The Stage 5 program is designed for owners aiming for better performance on the track. Suitable for M owners participating in various races.

TTS Transmission Stage 5:

  1. Increased line pressure to 19 Bar.
  2. Removed the torque limits of both clutches.
  3. More aggressive shifting in all three driving logics (Drive Logic) in automatic shift mode.
  4. Optimized launch control tuning (referencing GTS vehicle tuning).
  5. Increased grip during launch control.
  6. Slightly improved manual shift response speed.
  7. Sportier shifting logic in D mode - Drive Logic 1.
  8. Racing shifting logic in D mode - Drive Logic 3.
  9. Shift program structure fully optimized based on the M4 GTS racing version.
  10. Customizable launch RPM (minimum 2000 RPM, default 3000-3200 RPM, maximum 5000 RPM). Default launch RPM varies by model.
  11. Intense shift kickback sensation (to counteract vehicle balance issues).
  12. Crisper shift logic (suitable for power-enhanced vehicles).
  13. Activates DSC at 1050 RPM, deactivates DSC at 2800 RPM.

TTS Transmission Stage 5 Plus:

  1. Based on the Stage 5 program, added a feature for 2nd gear start in Drive Logic 1.

TTS Transmission Stage 5 Race Mode 0-100 for High Power Models:

  1. Reduced wheel spin duration at launch due to high torque.
  2. Increased traction between tires and the ground in low gears post-launch.

Comfort Tuning:

  1. Significantly improved driving comfort in Drive Logic 1.
  2. Enhanced driving comfort in Drive Logics 2 & 3.
