Stage 1 Maps
Stage 1 Tuning enhances the factory tuning by adding gear position display and removing the transmission's torque limit. It also improves fuel efficiency in ECO mode, making it suitable for all types of drivers.
TTS Transmission Stage 1:
1. Gear display activated in D mode.
2. Removed the torque limitation inside the transmission.
3. More fuel-efficient in ECO mode.
Stage 2/Stage 2 Plus Maps
The Stage 2 and Stage 2 Plus tuning focus more on sporty driving without compromising comfort. The transmission's adjusted shift points and clutch pressure enable faster shifts and reduced response times, suitable for all drivers, especially those who want better driving enjoyment in Sport/Sport+ mode.
TTS Transmission Stage 2:
1. Gear display activated in D mode.
2. Removed the torque limitation inside the transmission.
3. More fuel-efficient in ECO mode.
*The following features have been added compared to Stage 1.
4. Slightly increased line pressure for high torque power.
5. Changed program logic in D mode for smoother and more comfortable driving, and more fuel-efficient in ECO mode.
6. Reconfigured DEC logic according to M-cars: ECO mode equals M-Drive Logic 1, Comfort mode equals M-Drive Logic 2, Sport/Sport+ mode equals M-Drive Logic 3.
7. True manual mode: M mode cancels automatic upshift. (Effective in the following modes: Comfort mode DSC on/DTC on/DSC off, Sport mode DSC on, Sport+ mode DTC on.)
8. Allows reduction torque in snow/mud to reduce tire slip.
9. Faster shift speed in DTC mode and DSC off.
10. Changed shift points, optimized shift rhythm for easier uphill driving (without affecting comfort).
TTS Transmission Stage 2 Plus (A few vehicles are not supported.):
11. Optimized for steady cruising above 50 km/h on the basis of Stage 2. Deliberately increased upshift RPM in gears 5, 6, and 7 to allow the turbo to engage more fully, reducing turbo lag during driving. Faster downshift rev-matching for smoother cruising.
Stage 3 / Stage 3 Plus / Stage 3 Gear Customize / Stage 3 Ignition Cut Maps
Building on most features from Stages 1 and 2, the Stage 3 maps offers faster and more agile shifting logic in all modes, elevating BMW's sporty characteristics to an unprecedented level for those who love driving enjoyment in all modes.
TTS Transmission Stage 3:
1. Gear display activated in D mode.
2. Removed the torque limitation inside the transmission.
3. Increased line pressure for high torque power.
4. Changed program logic in D mode for better response.
5. Reconfigured DEC logic according to M models: ECO mode equals M model Drive Logic 1, Comfort mode equals M model Drive Logic 2, Sport/Sport+ mode equals M model Drive Logic 3.
6. True manual mode: M mode cancels automatic upshift. (Effective in the following modes: Comfort mode DSC on/DTC on/DSC off, Sport mode DSC on, Sport+ mode DTC on.)

12. Allows using 8th gear during high-speed cruising in S mode.
13. Super enhanced manual mode: 1. Faster, more agile shifts in M mode Sport, paddle response speed to the highest (dual-clutch transmission feel). 2. Strong downshift rev-matching in M mode or S mode Sport+.
14. Improved launch performance by controlling rear wheel grip.
TTS Transmission Stage 3 Plus:
15. More comfortable shift logic in gear D mode, more aggressive shifts in S mode based on Stage 3.
TTS Transmission Stage 3 Gear Customize(A few vehicles are not supported.):
16. Optimized for steady cruising above 50 km/h on the basis of Stage 3. Deliberately increased upshift RPM in gears 5, 6, and 7 (compared to Stage 2 Plus) to allow the turbo to engage more fully, reducing turbo lag during driving. Faster downshift rev-matching for smoother cruising.
TTS Transmission Stage 3 Ignition Cut:
17. Added upshift backfire on the basis of Stage 3, noticeable upshift feel, faster upshifts, backfire sound at roughly 250NM torque and 3500 RPM (sound is louder in Comfort/Sport mode than in Sport+ mode, manual upshift sound is louder than automatic upshift sound).
Stage 4 / Stage 4 Plus / Stage 4 Ignition Cut Maps
Building on all the features of Stage 3, the Stage 4 and Stage 4 Plus maps enhance comfort in full-time sport mode driving, ideal for BMW owners who enjoy driving in sport mode for extended periods.
TTS Transmission Stage 4:
1. Gear display activated in D mode.
2. Removed the torque limitation inside the transmission.

4. Changed program logic in D mode for better response.

19. Further increased shift speed in Comfort mode.
TTS Transmission Stage 4 Plus(A few vehicles are not supported.):
20. Optimized for steady cruising above 50 km/h on the basis of Stage 4. Deliberately increased upshift RPM in gears 5, 6, and 7 (compared to Stage 2 Plus) to allow the turbo to engage more fully, reducing turbo lag during driving. Faster downshift rev-matching for smoother cruising.
**TTS Transmission Stage 4 Ignition Cut:**
21. Added upshift backfire on the basis of Stage 4, noticeable upshift feel, faster upshifts, backfire sound at roughly 200NM torque and 3000 RPM (sound is louder in Comfort/Sport mode than in Sport+ mode, manual upshift sound is louder than automatic upshift sound).
Stage 5 / Stage 5 Plus / Stage 5 Race Mode for High Power Models Maps

17. Fastest shift speed in all modes.
18. Clearer, more noticeable shift feel.
19. Standstill Decoupling: cancels the transmission-engine separation when stationary, providing immediate power response.
20. Activates straight-line racing mode: extracts absolute maximum value from the transmission and greatly improves 0-100 performance! Torque reduction during shifts is completely disabled, shift pressure maximized, clutch protection threshold raised, putting all engine power on the ground. Automatically activates in Launch Control and in Sport+/DSC off mode (8-speed) or manual mode (6-speed). Normal daily driving comfort is unaffected. (*Note: In launch mode, clutch wear is about three times higher than daily use.)
21. Enhanced launch control mode, with all pressure/torque applied to the wheels. To use enhanced launch mode: park your car on a safe, flat, straight street. Shift to S mode, enter Sport+ mode. Now press the brake firmly, then quickly go full throttle and press the kickdown switch. In vehicles with factory LC-function, you will see "Launch Control activated" on the dashboard. Release the brake, and the vehicle will manage torque and traction to reduce wheel spin according to the new program. Enhanced launch mode with straight-line racing mode can improve 0-100 time by 0.7-0.8 seconds.
22. Increased line pressure, preventing clutch slippage, extending clutch life, handling higher torque (high power and high torque cars strongly recommended).
TTS Transmission Stage 5 Plus:
23. Added 2nd gear start in D mode on the basis of Stage 5, reducing 0-100 km/h time in D mode.
24. Enhanced launch mode to aggressive mode, further increasing shift pressure, improving 0-160 km/h speed.
TTS Transmission Stage 5 Race Mode 0-100 for High Power Models :
25. Added specific tuning for 0-100 straight-line races on high power models on the basis of Stage 5.
26. Limited maximum torque in 1/2/3 gears on the basis of Stage 5, reducing tire spin time during launch due to excessive torque.
27. Increased tire to ground grip in 1/2/3 gears after 0-100 launch on the basis of Stage 5.
One More Thing: Two Special Tunings
TTS Transmission Stage Special-Comfort:
1. Comfort mode: Improves shift smoothness as much as possible, reducing hardware-induced jerks.
TTS Transmission Stage Super-ECO:
1. Super-ECO mode: Added a Super ECO Stage that can make the vehicle more fuel-efficient, reducing fuel consumption by up to 0.6 liters per 100 kilometers across all driving modes.
